Golfer’s Towel

To Begin: With the easyloop® tool threaded with Yarn A (Renegade), create a slip knot (1 inch in size) 6 inches from yarn end.

Foundation Chain: Chain 30 stitches plus 1 turning stitch. Turn work.

Row 1: Slip Stitch into every stitch of foundation chain across row, making 1 turning stitch at the end of row. Turn work, so yarn tool is on the left and work is on the right (or vice versa for left-handers).

Rows 2-45: Ridged Single Fauxchet® Stitch into every Slip Stitch across each row, making 1 extra turning stitch at the end of each row before turning work. Turn work at the end of each row.

Row 46: Slip Stitch into every stitch to end of row.

At the end of row 46, end work by fastening off with 1 extra chain stitch into the last stitch. Cut yarn leaving a 6 inch tail. Unthread the easyloop® tool by pulling cut yarn end backward out of the tool needles. Pull yarn end to tighten the last stitch.

Finishing: Weave loose yarn ends in using the easyloop® yarn tool and the “weaving ends in” technique.

Single Fauxchét® Edging: Rethread the easyloop® tool with Yarn A (Renegade). BEGIN EDGING at the same corner your project started, by securing the threaded yarn tool to the corner of the fabric with a Slip Stitch. Tie the two yarn ends together to secure. NOTE: Both sides of the Ridged Single Fauxchét® fabric look the same; there is no right or wrong side.

Continue the Single Fauxchét® Edging around all 4 sides of the rectangle, creating an extra stitch at the corners to prevent puckering.

When Single Fauxchét® Edging is completed around all 4 sides, end work by fastening off with 1 extra chain stitch into the last stitch.

Styling: Attach the finished towel to golf bag with clip.
